The producers Thanassis Karathanos and Karl Baumgartner († 2014) formed the company PALLAS FILM in Halle/Germany in 2003 with the intention to produce films on a high artistic level for the national and international market, that celebrate festival and cinema successes worldwide. Among them are films of well-known directors like Bohdan Slama (“Something like Happiness”), Sam Garbarski (“Irina Palm”), Dito Tsintsadze (“Invasion”), Olivier Assayas (“Clouds of Sils Maria”), Rafi Pitts (“Soy Nero”), Bruno Dumont (“Slack Bay”), Sergey Dvortsevoy (“Ayka”), Elia Suleiman (“It Must Be Heaven”) and Cherien Dabis (“All that’s left of you”).
