SMUGGLING HENDRIX is nominated in five categories for the Hellenic Film Academy Award, including the BEST FILM (Producers: Janine Teerling, Marios Piperides, Thanassis Karathanos, Kostas Lambropoulos, Martin Hampel), BEST FIRST TIME DIRECTOR (Marios Piperides), BEST SCRIPT (Marios Piperides), BEST ACTOR (Adam Bousdoukos) and BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR (Fatih Al). Fantastic news reached us from Cannes: AYKA by Sergey Dvortsevoy will celebrate its world premiere at this year’s Cannes International Film Festival.
Already with his first feature film “Tulpan” Dvortsevoy was represented 10 years ago in the section “Un Certain Regard” and won in addition to the Best Film Award, also the Prix de la jeunesse and Prix de l’education nationale. The more we were pleased to be invited in competition.
The international coproduction (RUS / D / PL / KAZ / CHN) was among others also supported by the MDM and co-produced by ZDF – thank you very much.
